The SAMHSA Dimensions of Wellness is our shared framework for Health and Wellbeing at UNC Charlotte.
Wellness isn’t just physical health or mental health, it’s multi-dimensional. It includes how we manage our emotions, build relationships, grow intellectually, care for our environment, navigate finances, explore purpose, prepare for careers, and take care of our bodies.
The Dimensions are: Emotional, Environmental, Financial, Intellectual, Occupational, Physical, Social, and Spiritual Wellness.
